XCOMUFO.com's bug FAQ (technical bugs) X-COM 3

The third and final chapter in what we considered Turned based X-COM... And I must say, there was a lot of controversy about this one... Some wanted the turned based gone, other like me wanted it to stay... but the biggest change was the city...

And so came Mega-Primus... The complicated city where shooting down ufo's was so difficult, watching them "beaming" down into buildings alien raid squads (I remember writing down the names of the building so I could go do the mission before I get an alert). What really got me into this game, besides the retro look of the vehicles, is that it was a different approach. I like the fact that the final missions were very long, instead of a two or three stages mission, and then it's over. Nope, not in this one! You have to wait until the appropriate research is complete, and then you go destroy their building, and shoot down some UFO's while you're at it... There's nothing like a fleet of Annihilators and Retaliators to kick alien butt...

Ready for some city politics? Marsec's waiting at the end of the negociation table...

The word has spread in the universe: The humans have won three wars against aliens. Now, others want to challenge the title we have managed to preserve for 85 years. Earth is at its worse state, a perfect target for conquerors. But do we have the technology to survive? Will we adapt fast enough to win again?

The year is 2084. The last war against the aliens has left Earth badly contaminated. The environment started to decline rapidly and everyone suffered of it. Drastic climatic changes were devastating and too fast for man to adapt. Many governments started making plans to start colonizing other planets, such as Mars.

While the Earth's evacuation was under process, a self - contained city called Mega - Primus was successfully constructed. Entirely independent from the home world's resources, Mega - Primus became a historical achievement. Unfortunately, even with a comfortable, low - cost lifestyle, the last four years have seen the city deteriorate. For decades, life in Mega - Primus has been idyllic - until now. Violence and crime are up dramatically. Missing persons reports are flooding in. How can this so called "Paradise" be transformed into what Earth used to be a century ago? And now, rumors of UFO sightings and alien corpses can't just be ignored. Marsec (MARS SECurity) can't deal alone with this tragedy. Only one organization can restore peace in Mega - Primus... X-COM

The Senate is still unconvinced that the source of the degradation is of alien origin. Still they agreed to fund a covert investigation by X-COM. An investigation that will turn soon into another war! While the new underground headquarter is nearly finished, important organizations in the city are dealing with X-COM representatives in order to benefit of the latest weaponry, personnel, equipment and transport. Only one organization is standing in X-COM's way: The Cult Of Sirius. This cult believes that we will be redeemed by a superior alien culture. While being suspected of being linked with the aliens' activity in the city, they must be monitored closely and if necessary, to shut down the organization .

Will Earth survive this new threat? Can X-COM prevent the apocalypse once again? To see if you can prevent Earth's annihilation, get into the action with X-COM Apocalypse.
